HELLO AND WELCOME TO MY PERSONAL PORTFOLIO
My name is Norbert Maier. I am a designer from Germany.
Originally, I studied Communication Design, but I mainly work as an animation layout artist, 2D/3D set designer and illustrator for news magazines, book and magazine publishers, theme parks, TV productions, industrial companies, advertising agencies and computer game developers.
So I worked as a layout artist for several years in the USA at “Walt Disney Feature Animation” in Orlando/FL on animated feature films such as “Mulan” and “Lilo & Stitch”.
And in 2023 I was involved as a set designer and layout artist for the Oscar-winning animated film
“The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse” by "Lupus Films/London".

In addition I am a university lecturer since several years and a travel and nature photographer for a renowned photo agency.
For some time now I have also been active as an informalist painter.
